Ephesians 2:8-10

Over the next few weeks, we are joining together to collectively declare an armistice from the battles we carried over into the new year. This is the perfect opportunity to press pause on the chaos, re-evaluate your situation, and take advantage of the tools God has given you to be more appropriately equipped to win the war you’re facing. Is it financial? Relational? Medical? Something at work? Something at home? As we talked about this Sunday, whatever is in front of you, God has created and anointed you to handle it. Every gift you have and every talent you acquire have been perfectly placed to accomplish good things. In his letter to the Ephesians, the apostle Paul encourages the church by reminding all of us that even in trying times, we are safe, treasured, and full of purpose because of our belief in Jesus. Trust God with every detail of your life and watch what He unfolds!

MEDITATE ON THIS PASSAGE: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
