Every year, Pantone (the global authority on color) picks the Color Of The Year. The color experts at Pantone select the hue that best celebrates what is happening around the world. More than just pop culture, the Color Of The Year is meant to resonate globally. Fashion designers, decorators, and other consumer-oriented companies use this color to design and plan products for the year. The Color Of The Year is purposefully selected to transcend the differences between cultures and spur creativity in every country. This specific color is translated in fashion, design and products over and over again, creating color harmony.
I greatly appreciate the Color Of The Year. In everything from design to the color of my nail polish, I enjoy utilizing the trend. But, more than I appreciate the color, I appreciate the analogy it reflects in my life.
The creator of the universe has a purpose for each one of our lives, including mine. He transcends the differences between cultures and spurs creativity in each one of us. The creator is found in every facet of the earth, creating unity and harmony in the individuals, families and communities that celebrate Him.
The three people that I love sharing my right brained, creative madness with the most are my phenomenal husband and incredible sons. Bill, Gaige, and Declan are beyond amazing to live life with. We love our city and we’re passionate about helping Houstonians find creative ways to grasp their purpose!
